Job Summary
DevOps Specialist- 100% remote work from home
We are seeking a DevOps Specialist with experience and passion for assisting in developing integrating and delivering software components into our informatics platforms.
We are a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers who work in a dynamic and Agile environment.
Responsibilities include:
-Design and build robust CI/CD pipelines to deliver our software
-Managing Kubernetes clusters and maintaining cloud architectures.
-Identify issues & areas of concern before they arise and ensure the smooth operation of platforms.
You should have some experience in the implementation of technical solutions and be recognized as a contributor with a good grasp of the breadth and depth of your teams code base.
Qualifications:
1 2 years of professional DevOps experience in a diverse set of technology disciplines.
1 years of Kubernetes experience deploying resources with Helm and authoring Helm charts
Experience implementing CI/CD solutions for microservice architectures
Good knowledge of object storage relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Elasticsearch Redis) database systems.
Exposure and experience deploying infrastructure to private or public clouds is highly desired.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Other Skills:
Can deal with ambiguity and manage requests for change
Performs well in a fast paced deadline-oriented environment
Willingness and ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team across multiple disciplines
Willingness to research and learn new approaches and technologies
