Salary per hour (exc. super): As per award
Hours per fortnight: 86 (inclusive of 10 hours training time)
Employment Status: 12-month full time Registrar position commencing February 2026

During the fixed term period (02/02/2026 - 31/01/2027) you will have the opportunity to develop core competencies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) establishing a strong foundation for advanced specialist training and a future career in the field. As an unaccredited registrar you will play a key role in coordinating care for both inpatient and outpatient cases and will be actively involved in the weekend roster ensuring continuity of care and gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Working within a large regional Obstetrics and Gynaecology service you will enhance your procedural skills in womens health while taking on responsibility for the day-to-day care and oversight of patients in the Maternity and Gynaecology units. You will work closely with consultant Obstetricians and Gynaecologists contributing to high-quality patient care and developing your clinical expertise.

A comprehensive registrar teaching program will be available to you offering valuable exposure to medical students and junior medical staff.

Your New Division

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute allied health cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology Cardiology Renal Emergency Womens and Childrens Critical Care Specialist Clinics Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient outpatient community home and residential care settings.
