Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Associate Dentist to join our dedicated team on Vancouver Island. This is an excellent opportunity for dental professionals who are eager to provide high-quality dental care in a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and evaluations to assess patients oral health.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings extractions and dental surgeries.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients needs and preferences.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene preventive care and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver effective patient care.
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practices and maintain a sterile and safe working environment.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Essential Qualifications
- Doctorate in Dentistry from an accredited DDS/DMD program (Canadian or American Dental Institutions).
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in British Columbia.
Desired Experience
- New Grad and a maximum of 3 years of clinical experience in a dental practice.
- Proven skills in dentistry surgical procedures and patient management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Salary and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $300000 to $400000 CAD commensurate with experience.
