Typical duties include:
- Supporting residents with activities of daily living
- Co-creating personalised care plans
- Leading and delegating care provision to caregivers and support staff
- Ensuring timely delivery of care and support
- Monitoring and evaluating progress in partnership with the resident and their chosen representatives
- Building trusted therapeutic relationships with residents and their whānau
The shift pattern and hours for this role entails working on a 4 on 2 off rotational roster.

Qualifications :
As an experienced Registered Nurse you will be seeking a rewarding role and feel motivated by enhancing residents lives.
Youll bring with you:
- Experience in a memory care unit or dementia residence
- A NZ Registration and a current Practicing Certificate
- A genuine interest in working with older people and an understanding of clinical services as they are delivered in a retirement village
- Demonstrated ability to take the lead remain calm under pressure and be emotionally resilient
- Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people from residents families and your colleagues
