The House of Commons Human Resources Services is currently looking to staff the Deputy Director Compensation Services position.
This recruitment and selection process is restricted to the Human Resources Services employees of the House of Commons Administration.
In this role the incumbent oversees the daily compensation operations at the House of Commons. This includes but is not limited to maintaining timely and accurate human resources information and ensuring accurate pay for Members of Parliament and their staff House Officers and their staff and all House Administration employees and any other organization for which an agreement to provide pay services and HR operations is in place.
One of the main responsibilities is to ensure that the Compensation Services team provides services per best practices and that they achieve optimal outcomes for the House of Commons strategic operational and business requirements by working closely with internal and external addition the Deputy Director Compensation Services leads the development and implementation of pay processing and HR operations strategies policies and procedures designed to facilitate engagement with stakeholders and meet organizational requirements.

Qualifications :
Education:
- Bachelors degree in a related field (business administration commerce industrial relations human resources management psychology etc.) or an acceptable combination of education training and relevant experience.
Experiences:
- Experience in Human Resources gained in progressively responsible roles including considerable work experience in pay compensation and/or pension operations and systems;
- A minimum of five years of management and leadership experience;
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies policies and programs related to pay pension and HR operations;
- Experience in implementing change management processes and process improvements;
- Experience in the use of financial and administration policies and procedures including but not limited to terms and conditions of employment;
- Experience working with Pay and Human Resources Management systems.
