Job Summary
Job Summary: Eurofins Raw Material team is seeking and entry level Associate Scientist in the Cell Assay laboratory to join their team in Lancaster PA.
Hours: Sunday - Thursday 8am-5pm
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform aseptic tissue culture techniques such as expansion and seeding of adherent and suspension tissue culture lines including numerous mammalian culture cell lines.
- Perform common lab skills include microscopy aseptic media preparation mechanical pipetting serial dilution preparations and basic calculations including the use of Excel spreadsheets.
- Perform tissue culture based analytical testing including growth promotion testing of media components.
- Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability
- Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
- Document work as required for GMP compliance
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in biology molecular or cell biology or-related field or other related degree concentration
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies.
This position will support our raw materials services with a focus on biochemistry and cell assay method development. An ideal candidate would have experience with the development and validation of biopotency assays as well as biochemistry and molecular biology techniques.
Additional Information :
Working schedule will be Full-Time Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. This position is NOT remote.
