Construction Intern (BIM) AECOM Hunt

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in Dallas TX. 

This position is expected to begin in Summer 2026. 

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: 

• Hands on experience with Drones 3D-Printing 360 Photos Laser Scanning
• Learn to create 4D Animations using Synchro.
• Create model content for business development pursuits to help win new work.
• Create Visuals and Mine Project Data from multiple sources for Project Dashboards.
• Shadow MEP Coordination Meetings on mega-projects across the country.
• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities requiring the application of standard techniques procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks. 
• Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff. 
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work. 
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Architecture Civil Engineering Game Design or similar discipline and must have completed at least 3 years of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelors degree and plan to continue with the Masters degree are eligible to apply for these positions.  Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelors degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working for a large general contractor.
• Previous relevant internship experience.
• Exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
• Bluebeam Sketchup Revit Navisworks or BIM Coordination Lumion or other rendering platforms as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
