Job Summary
Join us as key enabler for digitalization for Engineering and Manufacturing at ME.
As a Data engineer you will:
- drive the design and implementation of application data models.
- implement data that satisfy the needs of the ME ECU business requirements.
- work with different types of data data sources infrastructure existing building blocks (e.g. APIs micro services) in our ECU Engineering data platform.
- create and operate automated pipelines for data extraction transformation and integration.
- implement strategies to ensure defined data quality standards and data linage.
- be responsible for developing automated integration and orchestration of data architectures and pipelines for manufacturing and engineering solutions and AI model deployment.
Qualifications :
- University studies (masters degree or PhD) in Computer Science Statistics Physics or a comparable subject.
- Proven knowledge and experience in developing cloud-based solutions.
- Several years of experience in software development with a focus on data pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in Python Scala or Java.
- Proficiency with data-lake providers (Azure Databricks preferred).
- Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools (GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines).
- Familiar with streaming solutions (e.g. Apache Kafka and Flink).
- Knowledge of data management concepts pipeline deployment and data provisioning.
