Senior Construction Engineer

AECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Senior Construction Engineer for employment in Panama City Panama.  

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Under limited direction applies advanced engineering theories concepts principles processes and novel approaches to major and complex construction projects.
• Utilizes advanced techniques and an extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering problems and methods.
• Directs a group of engineers at a construction site.
• Full technical responsibility for interpreting organizing executing and coordinating complex engineering assignments on a small to medium sized project.
• Conceptual to detailed design of water dams retarding basins service basins

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Experience in performing inspection design and/or engineering activities in dams or water retaining structures
• Experience in the evaluation and validation of contractors change order requests against contract documents
• Bilingual English and Spanish.

Additional Information :

• 15 years of experience in related field
• Excellent interpersonal skills staff supervision strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities
• Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with the project team external project stakeholders and leadership.
