Job Summary
Responsible for the engineering design development timing and production release of a Body-in-white system and/or components. Responsible for Supporting Feasibility Dev. thru Template application with Design Office Themes. Responsible for Upperbody components & assemblies thru Program CAD milestones. Responsible for System Requirement Sections & BIW Part Template Application thru entire program. Responsible for Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for Engineering. Other responsibilities will include quality improvements weight reduction cost reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating technical product status to management.
Engineer to support meetings throughout NA work hours to work closely with local engineering teams Architeture/Vehicle Concepts & PDO with iterative models to align with all packaging functional objectives and system requirements.
Qualifications :
Responsible for the engineering design development scheduling and production launch of a Body-in-Closures. Responsible for supporting Feasibility Development through the application of Templates with Design Office Topics. Responsible for components and assemblies of the upper part of the vehicle up to the programs CAD milestones. Responsible for the System Requirements Sections and the Application of BIW Part Templates throughout the program. Responsible for maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for Engineering. Other responsibilities will include quality improvements weight reduction cost reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating the technical status of the product to management.
