About the role

Were on the lookout for a creative and strategic communicator to join us in early 2026 to lead our talented Communications and Marketing team.

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days look the same one moment youll be guiding brand strategy and mentoring a small high-performing team; the next youll be crafting compelling content managing media relationships or jumping into campaign delivery.

Youll also provide oversight and inspiration across fundraising and partnerships helping tell Geelong Regional Libraries story in ways that spark generosity investment and community pride.

What youll need

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing Communications PR or related field
• At least five years experience in a senior communications marketing or engagement role
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams deliver complex projects and create content that connects
• Bonus points for experience with media relations internal communications or creative tools like Adobe Suite social scheduling platforms and analytics tools
