About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our dynamic Medical and Surgical teams at Manning Base this role you will provide high-quality individualised patient care under the direction and guidance of Registered Nurses. Youll play a vital part in supporting patients with their personal care mobility and communication needs - helping them maintain dignity and comfort throughout their hospital stay.

As part of our team you will:

• Assist nurses and the multidisciplinary team in delivering safe effective and person-centred care.
• Support routine clinical tasks such as preparing for procedures and maintaining equipment.
• Accurately document patient care to ensure continuity and quality of service.
• Uphold NSW Healths values codes of conduct and commitment to cultural respect and patient safety.

You will be supported by full-time Clinical Nurse Educators (Monday to Friday) after-hours educators and a strong Senior Nursing Leadership team including Nurse Unit Managers Clinical Nurse Consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialists - all committed to guiding and developing you in your role.

About You

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assistant in Nursing) or
• Current enrolment in an undergraduate Nursing degree (completed first year and at least first semester/trimester of second year) or
• Current enrolment in a TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing (completed foundational units in practice and minimum 120 hours of clinical placement).

• A cooperative team-focused approach to care delivery
