Job Description:
The experienced Project Manager will drive the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to transform the financial operations as well as ensuring the seamless integration of various systems. This role blends core financial operations responsibilities with a strong commercial finance expertise enabling process-driven decisions that enhance financial operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance project management and ERP systems with a proven track record of successful implementations and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Project Management & Execution: Lead the full lifecycle of the ERP implementation projectfrom planning and requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Finance IT Procurement Operations Sales and Vendor Management and external vendors to ensure alignment of business needs and technical solutions.
- Process Mapping & Optimization: Analyse and understand existing financial processes work with regional Core implementation team and external vendors to leverage ERP capabilities for efficiency and control.
- System Configuration & Testing: Oversee system setup data migration UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Change Management & Training: Develop and execute training plans for finance users and support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight: Ensure the ERP system meets internal control requirements and complies with relevant financial and taxation regulations and standards.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project milestones & risks.
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related discipline.
- Professional qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA) strongly preferred.
- 610 years of Finance experience with at least 3 years experience in finance and project management with at least 2 ERP implementations.
- Experience with data migration system integration and post-go-live support
- Background in distribution tech services industries is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of financial processes including GL AP AR and Fixed Assets
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel with experience in BI/analytics
- Familiarity with SAP system OneStream Qlik Sense Hyeprion Essbase Smart View
