Job Summary

We are seeking a Network Technician to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate define and resolve network incidents of low to medium complexity.
Perform analytical and troubleshooting tasks requiring solid technical insight.
Maintain patch and administer network management systems with automation.
Support and integrate network management tools while ensuring stability and performance.
Distribute and delegate tasks to junior technical resources when required.
Collaborate with senior engineers and IT leadership to enhance network performance and security.

Required Skills & Experience

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field OR 24 years of relevant hands-on experience.

Certifications (Preferred)

CCNA (Routing & Switching DevNet or CyberOps)
Zscaler (ZCCA-IA ZCCA-PA)

Technical Expertise

Network troubleshooting routing and switching
Firewall administration and network security monitoring
Familiarity with Zscaler cloud security platform
Experience with network automation tools and scripting for patch management

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork
High level of accountability and ownership of assigned tasks
