Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will deliver high-quality compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a med-surg/telemetry floor.

• Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments monitor vital signs and interpret cardiac rhythms.

• Continuously monitor interpret and document cardiac rhythms; promptly respond to arrhythmias or significant clinical changes.

• Collaborate with physicians rapid response teams and other healthcare professionals for timely and effective patient care interventions.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with providers therapists and case managers to promote optimal patient outcomes.

• Communicate changes in patient status clearly and efficiently using SBAR format.

• Accurately document assessments interventions and patient responses in the electronic health record (EHR).

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies infection control standards and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med-Surg Telemetry experience required.

• Must have 18 months of permanent Med-Surg/Tele experience prior to travel assignments.

• Active RN license in Ohio or a Compact State license (must be in hand at submission).

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
