This position is ideal for a doctor who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys managing urgent non-emergency cases for companion animals. Youll have the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine with advanced equipment in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate and efficient care to pets with urgent medical needs
Diagnose and treat acute conditions and minor injuries in canine and feline patients
Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners regarding treatment options
Collaborate closely with skilled technicians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation while adhering to the highest standards of care
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college (or equivalent international certification)
Active or eligible veterinary license in Virginia
Strong multitasking and clinical decision-making skills
Excellent communication leadership and teamwork abilities
