The Staff Development Specialist (Clinical Educator) role is responsible for each new hires onboarding plan unit education and staff development for a particular departmentat Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospitals. The SDS provides instruction to new hires required to attend clinical team orientation which outlines the primary expectations and key deliverables for the organization. Examples include the training and validating of skills to ensure competency and continued growth throughout the employees career. This individual systematically reviews and evaluates the work and outcomes to ensure regulatory and safety measures are in place and adhered to. This role participates on strategic committees to serve as a resource as well as to create education and communication plans to successfully implement new processes procedures and use of clinical equipment.
