Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled QC Inspector to join our quality team for ongoing oil & gas and industrial projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience with QatarEnergy standards and strong technical knowledge of inspection testing and quality control procedures in EPC environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and testing activities for piping welding mechanical civil or coating works as per approved ITPs and project specifications.
- Ensure all materials and workmanship comply with QatarEnergy and international standards (ASME API ISO etc.).
- Verify and review material certificates calibration records and test reports.
- Monitor site activities and raise inspection requests (IRs) as required.
- Identify and report non-conformances assist in corrective actions and maintain accurate QC documentation.
- Coordinate with clients consultants and subcontractors during inspection stages.
- Support QA/QC Engineer in preparing final dossiers and handover documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a QC Inspector in oil & gas or industrial projects.
- Prior experience in QatarEnergy or major oil & gas projects is highly preferred.
- Certified in one or more of the following: CSWIP 3.1 / AWS / BGAS / NDT Level II / Coating Inspector.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures inspection techniques and documentation.
