Job Summary

Electrician Nationwide (TK Maxx Sites)
Contract Length: 12 months
Day Rate: Negotiable (based on experience and qualifications)

Overview:
We are looking for experienced Electricians to join a nationwide contract carrying out remedial works fire alarm maintenance and emergency lighting upgrades across TK Maxx stores throughout the UK. This is a mobile role involving travel to various sites working as part of an established team delivering high-quality electrical compliance and improvement works in live commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out remedial electrical works following inspection and testing reports.
Install test and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems in accordance with current regulations.
Ensure all work complies with BS7671 and site health & safety procedures.
Complete accurate job documentation and test certification.
Liaise with site managers and project coordinators to ensure smooth delivery of works.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Proven commercial experience (ideally retail or similar environments).
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Contract Details:

Duration: 12 months (with potential extension).
Locations: Nationwide (travel and occasional overnight stays required).
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP.
