Job Title: Fabrication Welder

Location: Waterloo Iowa

Salary: $23-26/hour

Job Summary of the Fabrication Welder: We are looking to hire a Full-Time experienced Welder who can read blueprints.1st shift opportunity.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Fabrication Welder:

Operate various pieces of equipment including hand plasma saws brake press and deburring equipment.

Weld quality parts set by blueprint specificationsusing jigs when availablewhile meeting production standard times.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Be safe in all operations of the job.

Education & Experience Requirements of the Fabrication Welder:

Requires a High School degree or GED.

1 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read blueprints.

Must be able to lay out parts and fabricate as needed.

Requires anon-site weld test prior to placement. (Mig)

Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions decimals and angles.

Must be able to utilize various measurement tools including but not limited to square angle square calipers and tape measure (to 1/32).

Use of wrenches air tools hand-held grinders overhead cranes steel handling and lifting skills.

Forklift experience or ability to train on the operation of a forklift.
