TITLE: Kettle Worker Bell Ringer - Seasonal
LOCATION: The Salvation Army - Wilmington DE
REPORTS TO: Corps Officer
SALARY: $15 per hour non-exempt
SCHEDULE: Tuesday to Saturday; 9:00 am to 2 p.m. and 4 8:30 p.m. (Flexible Hours)
Beginning: (November 17 2025) Ending: (December 24 2025)
FUNCTION:The Kettle Worker is to assist with the annual Salvation Army kettle effort including standing kettles to collect donations and ensure that the kettle is protected until pick-up by the Corps Officer or official kettle personnel.
Responsibilities
- Collects proceeds as directed from kettle donors.
- Collects proceeds from shoppers merchants and other donators.
- Informs Corps Officer of problems issues and complaints during the kettle season.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent Social skills a plus.
- Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by Delawares Beau Biden Law based on information found on the SBI and FBI Criminal Record Checks.
- Must have an understanding of and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
