Job Title: CVOR Surgical Technologist (OR Tech)
Location: Houston TX
Type: Contract
Shift: 02:30 PM 11:00 PM (Monday Friday)
Pay Rate: $35 $45 per hour

Position Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking CVOR Surgical Technologist (OR Tech)for an exciting job in Houston TX.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room with required instruments supplies and equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
Assist the surgical team by anticipating the surgeons needs and providing hands-on intraoperative support.
Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection prevention protocols.
Handle manage and process surgical instruments and equipment before during and after procedures.
Collaborate with RNs and perioperative staff to ensure safe efficient patient care.
Support onboarding/training and serve as a resource for junior surgical technologists.
Comply with all hospital departmental and patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through one of the following:
- National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation with specific experience in cardiovascular procedures.
