Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
- Administer treatments including but not limited to dental surgery fillings extractions and preventative care.
- Implement and oversee patient care plans maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care practices.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Essential Qualifications
- Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited Canadian or American institution.
- Licensure to practice dentistry in Canada (Ontario).
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and education.
- Proficiency in dental surgery and various dental procedures.
- Multilingualism is an asset enhancing communication with diverse patient backgrounds.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 3 years of experience in a dental practice.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced dental environment.
- Proven ability to establish rapport with patients and provide high-quality care.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: $300000 - $400000 CAD annually commensurate with experience.
