This role is to cover Maternity leave from mid Jan/1st Feb 2026 to end May 2027.
About this role
As part of our Global Finance team you will working alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals.
The Financial Controller ensures proper and up-to-date internal controls processes practices and systems are in place. This position analyses and controls the business performance/health of the company in terms of income statement (profitability) and balance sheet (working capital and liquidity).
The Financial Controller identifies areas of improvements and suggest/implement corrective measures to bring efficiencies into the company
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of all accounts ledgers and reporting systems following appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the Group financial Controller and Manager to ensure up-to-date internal control processes and practices are in place.
- Safeguard for receipt of revenue and costs items in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure Tax filing and submission for the countries he/she is responsible for.
- Analyse and validate the financial data in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform monthly quarterly and annual financial closings.
- Coordinate the annual audit activities to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
- Respond to inquiries from the Executive Team Group Controller and other Departments regarding accounting matters financial results special reporting requests etc.
- Identify areas of improvement and defines/leads internal projects/initiatives to optimize/standardize/automatize processes and activities in the area of finance.
- Able to work jointly with other Finance functions operating from Europe who are dependent on Group Financial Controller AR and AP Managers.
Qualifications:
Universitys degree in Economics or Business Administration.
ACCA certificate is highly valued.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions within finance of which at least 3 of them will be in International companies being responsible for Financial Controlling activities for different European and & or US countries.
Solid experience of IFRS 16 is required.
Good knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel and Outlook). D365 and Microsoft Dynamics AX will be a plus.
High command of English language both oral and written. German or Italian language knowledge will be highly valued.
Good organization and communication skills.
