About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position teaching Music across KS3KS5. The successful candidate will contribute to a culture of musical excellence and will have the freedom to develop their own initiatives within an already thriving department.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons in music theory composition and performance
Conduct or accompany choirs orchestras and instrumental groups
Support GCSE and A-Level students in developing high-level performance and analytical skills
Assist in organising concerts recitals and community music events
Promote inclusivity and passion for the arts across the whole school community
Facilities and Resources:
Purpose-built Music Centre with recital hall practice suites and digital studio
Full suite of music technology including notation and recording software

Experience and Qualifications:
QTS/PGCE and degree in Music or related discipline
Strong background in performance and/or composition
