To strengthen our growing team we are looking for a motivated and skilled Software Engineer (80100%)
Youll be working at the heart of the energy transition developing robust IoT solutions that power smart grid systems EV charging and more.
Tasks
- Develop and maintain Python algorithms to control smart grid resources like EV charging stations and batteries.
- Maintain and improve software modules running on Linux-based platforms.
- Communicate with devices using protocols such as Modbus TCP and REST APIs.
- Work with both MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
- Build and maintain optimized Docker images for smooth deployment and scalability.
- Use CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer issues related to our software solutions.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in software development ideally in IoT or energy sectors.
- Strong Python skills and in-depth experience with Linux systems (embedded or SBCs).
- Solid understanding of Docker cloud services (especially AWS) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with energy concepts (e.g. active/reactive power voltage current power factor) is a strong plus.
- A structured approach clear communication and a collaborative spirit.
- A degree in Computer Science Engineering Physics or a related technical field.
- Valid Swiss work permit and residency in Switzerland.
- A passion for sustainability and the desire to contribute to a greener energy future.
