Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Django Python JavaScript HTML and CSS
Implement features through use-case-driven design for both internal tools and client-facing solutions
Work collaboratively in an agile software development team environment
Build and optimize front-end interfaces with strong attention to UX/UI principles
Develop robust back-end services and APIs using Django and Python
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
Engage with clients to understand requirements and design solutions for their specific needs
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Systems Information Technology Mathematics or related technical discipline
Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals
Proficiency in Python and Django framework
Solid understanding of JavaScript HTML and CSS
Experience with full-stack web development principles
Knowledge of UX/UI design practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Los Angeles area
Must be a U.S. citizen (Industry Software is not sponsoring visas at this time)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL MongoDB PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React or similar)
Understanding of RESTful API design and development
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Python scripting and automation experience
Basic understanding of SEO principles
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
Strong analytical quantitative and problem-solving skills
Passion for technology and ability to navigate complex rapidly changing landscapes
