Education: BE Mechanical / Electrical. MBA will be preferred.
Experience: Experience of 7 to 15 years in the Tools industry.
New Role – Develop Market for Carpentry & Woodwork Tools
In this impactful role you will champion the creation of a new value-added service platform as well as new tools and services to support and enable the success of our platform partners. Seeking a Techno commercial Manager with the ability to liaison with external product development teams and execute targeted development calendars to ensure that product processes ultimately achieve performance quality and time to market goals
Managing New & Young Products -
1. Engage with end-users to identify product opportunities. Conduct immersion to understand the current problems of users and thereby generate ideas to innovate.
2. Continuously scan the global trends on the segments we operate. Identify new product being successful globally and evaluate introduction in India.
3. After conceptualization of new products under the guidance of Division Head/Category Head take responsibility to manage PI2M process till the product is ready for launch.
4. Work closely with Procurement and QA team to identify suitable manufacturing partner and getting products developed with them.
5. Effectively manage the PUL process end-to-end i.e. till the launch of the product is complete as per process outlined in the module. Ensure that desired volumes are achieved at the end of the launch process.
6. Manage young products in consultation with Category Head to achieve desired sales value and achieve its potential.
7. Carry out renovation of all young products and existing other products whenever required. This may include:
a. Change in packaging and label design
b. Revision in the product position
c. Improvement in product performance
d. Promo pack design
Support in product pricing -
8. Closely monitor competitor pricing in markets we operate.
9. Assist Category Head in working out changes in pricing
Product literature & marketing aids -
10. Design of product literature and brochure and other marketing aids
Product complaints -
11. Resolution of product complaints
Development of modules for BTL activities -
12. Develop relevant modules for BTL activities in close co-ordination with Field Marketing team in order to increase user adoption.
