Type: Contract
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Pay Rate: $55 $62/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgicalfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.

Responsibilities:

Deliver professional nursing care in the Medical/Surgical unit.
Perform IV insertions phlebotomy and conscious sedation according to facility protocols.
Monitor assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
Administer medications and manage IV therapies safely.
Collaborate with physicians healthcare staff and patient families to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards.
Follow infection control and safety procedures.
Participate in continuing education to maintain clinical competencies.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Prior experience in acute care or hospital setting.

Education:

Required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program.
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications & Licensure:

Active New York State RN License.
Primary Source Verification of License and Registration from NYS Department of Education.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
