Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Driver Recruiter to join our team. As a Recruiter you will be responsible for recruiting screening interviewing and hiring qualified applicants per company guidelines while simultaneously improving driver retention and safety
standards. Additionally the Recruiter will work closely with multiple departments in order to facilitate a smooth onboarding process. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company and play a pivotal role in our recruitment efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
Screen candidate applications driving records and skill sets to ensure they meet company qualifications.
Obtain driver leads and contact potential candidates via phone e-mail and text to establish rapport.
As the first positive point of contact for each driver promote the companys successful history along with competitive compensation benefit and company offerings.
Process and review the proper reports and documents to ensure drivers meet our qualifications: MVRs PSPs Background Checks.
Review the validity of the drivers CDL Social Security Card and Medical Card and request additional supporting document when necessary.
Review all applications to ensure work history is accurate and in chronological order.
Utilize the Tenstreet platform to assign pre-employment tasks videos and documents.
Work closely with the Orientation Team to help facilitate new driver orientation.
Collaborate with the Safety Department and Driver Relations to verify employment details and ensure candidates meet employment standards.
Available to work a half shift (4 hours) one Saturday every other month.
Various other support functions.
Work Hours
Tuesday - Friday hours will be somewhere close to 10a-7p CST
Saturday - hours will be somewhere close to 7a-3p CST
(The schedule is define by HR Mgmt)
Experience and desired skills:
- Proficient in spoken and written ENGLISH (must)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work effectively both as a Team member and independently
- Ability to follow instructions and deliver quality results
- Past work experience that is relevant is a plus
