Speech Pathologist or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)Gateway Regional School District is seeking a full time interim Speech Pathologist or Speech Pathology Assistant. The SLP/SLPA will collaborate with the districts SLP Coordinator and Pupil Services Director to provide speech and language therapy to students in preschool middle and high school. Ideal candidate must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills in order to effectively and professionally communicate with students parents and staff. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills in the following domains as they relate to children ages 3-21: articulation/phonology receptive and expressive language fluency voice/resonance pragmatic language AAC and hearing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Implementation of therapy services as designated by the supervising SLPCollaboration with other related service professionals and educators Data collection to monitor progress toward students goalsPerform other related duties to benefit the speech and language department as outlined by the supervising SLP such as creation of materials progress monitoring typing filing data tracking etc. Experience/Licensure:Must hold a current speech and language pathology or assistant license in the state of given to those with at least 1 year of school based experience.
