Were GC Realty & Development and were on the hunt for an experienced Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team. With more than 1400 homes and small multi-unit properties across Chicagoland we keep busy - and we need skilled pros who know how to get the job done right the first time.
What Youll Do
Start from home: Get your schedule the night before and head straight to your first job.
Handle 3-5 jobs a day: Homes apartments townhomes - were all about Residential maintenance!
Tackle a mix of tasks:
Plumbing (drips clogs swaps)
HVAC (filters simple fixes thermostats)
Electrical (light switches outlets fixtures)
Drywall (patch it sand it paint it)
General repairs and make-readies
Stay connected: Upload notes and photos on your company phone and stay in touch with dispatch and teammates.
Be our eyes in the field: If something looks off speak up - we trust your judgment.
- End the day knowing you made an impact.
What You Bring
3-5 years of residential maintenance experience
Strong skills across multiple trades
Your own tools reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
Comfort using mobile apps to track work
Bonus points for trade certifications (plumbing HVAC electrical)
Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

What You Get
Hourly pay: $23-$27 based on experience
Gas stipend: Up to $150/week
Performance bonus (starting 2025): Earn up to 10% of wages
