Job Summary
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons to Grade 2 students.- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students.- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student engagement.- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum instructional materials and assessments.- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences in the classroom.- Collaborate with grade level colleagues and Parish Faith Formation staff in student preparation for First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion.- Provide individualized support and guidance to students as needed.- Foster a love for learning by making connections to real-world applications.- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in elementary education.
