JOB DESCRIPTION:To provide students with a safe comfortable and clean environment in which to learn play and develop.
QUALIFICATIONS: Some experience in custodial work preferred. Ability to do routine manual work of average difficulty in cleaning and providing light maintenance of buildings and grounds under close to moderate supervision. The physical condition necessary to bend stoop stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean walls floors fixtures windows sidewalks and other areas on a prescribed schedule.
- Empty trash receptacles as scheduled.
- Move furniture and equipment as necessary to perform cleaning tasks and for special activities.
- Replace light bulbs do touch-up painting and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Report safety hazards and the need for repairs.
- Maintain the security of buildings and grounds as assigned.
- Maintain grounds. Pick up trash mow and trim grass trim trees irrigate and perform other grounds maintenance duties as assigned. Keep all floors doors and walls clean and attractive and in well-maintained condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SALARY:Twelve-month 40 hours per weekposition beginning salary Level 30 employee benefits in accordance with Board Policies.
EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
