We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support and grow our customer base within the Turbine Pump and Compressor repair industry. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities managing existing accounts and providing front-line support for customers in need of rotating equipment repairs and service solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Acquisition
- Prospect and secure new business within industrial sectors including oil & gas power generation chemical water/wastewater and manufacturing.
- Promote shop services such as repair overhaul field service inspection and testing of pumps compressors and steam/gas turbines.
- Perform regular cold calls job site visits and follow-ups to generate leads and build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Perform Job walks on site
- Perform in person meetings with customers
- Attend remote as well as in person meetings with TPC management team
- Conduct regular visits to the TPC office
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent communication and support.
- Monitor customer equipment needs and identify future service opportunities.
Quoting & Proposals
- Communicate customer specific requirements and scopes for estimating and quoting purposes
- Present proposals and TPC capabilities to customers.
- Follow up on open quotes to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Project Coordination Support
- Collaborate with project managers and facility management to ensure smooth job hand-offs and alignment with customer expectations.
- Participate in kickoff meetings site inspections or witness testing when needed.
- Address customer concerns during job progress and help resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Maintain accurate records regarding customers (customer database) including call reports sales forecasts and customer data.
- Track industry trends competitor activity and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows networking events and other outreach efforts to promote the company brand and services at management discretion
Qualifications:
- Experience: 25 years of sales experience
- Ability to be taught the technical aspect of ; turbines pumps compressors etc.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suit (Word Excel Outlook);
- Travel: Regional travel required (up to 5075%) for customer visits plant walk-throughs and trade events.
- Basic knowledge and familiarity of the petrochemical industry
