THE OPPORTUNITY
As Dairy Production Manager (2IC) youll be a collaborative hands-on leader working with the Farm Manager in delivering outstanding animal performance pasture management and team development.
Youll help run toolbox meetings coach and develop team members assist with financial and business planning and ensure high standards of farm presentation and compliance.
Youll enjoy working alongside a strong collaborate and supportive team where youll be trusted to take ownership of key responsibilities all while developing your leadership skills and farm management capabilities.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about farming who wants to continue building a professional career pathway while enjoying the benefits of an outstanding rural location close to Martinborough and Featherston.
THE FARM
Wingpoint Dairy is a 330 effective ha block milking 780 cows twice a day through a 70-bail rotary situated 15 minutes from Martinborough and 20 minutes south of Featherston. We also have an additional 96 effective ha support block 10 min up the road.
The school bus and lots of recreational activities are close by and as the farm is bordering Greytown and Martinborough there are plenty of community events.

- Solid dairy experience including grazing and animal health

- A current full NZ drivers licence
- Experience operating farm machinery and tractors - a bonus
