Job Summary
- Validating RF Exposure test cases for different regulatory domains in certification test setups. - Translating WW regulatory requirements into test cases. Coordinating with regulatory compliance teams to ensure product validation covers all certification tests. - Define/execute validation plan for RF Exposure facing SW features.- Debugging marginal/failure tests with cross-functional teams like RFHW /Antenna/ Product Design/EE and drive design changes to address issues. - Maintain test setups via periodic checks and calibration. - Help Regulatory Compliance teams in planning/executing on final certification testing at 3rd party test labs.
- BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Working experience with different wireless communication systems such as GSM/UMTS/LTE 802.11xx Bluetooth including the corresponding system level specifications (e.g. ETSI 51.010 51.05).
- Working experience with regulatory requirements and certification process for wireless consumer devices including FCC PTCRB CTIA ETSI 3GPP.
- Excellent communication skills required both written & verbal.
- MS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Working experience of antenna design and tests in particular hands-on experience for compliance measurements.
- Experience with 5GmmWave standard and/or hands-on chamber/system level understanding.
- Experience with Antenna/EM simulation tools.
