We specialize in delivering efficient solutions for public health building safety housing standards and regulatory compliance. Our proprietary software VertexPlans streamlines inspection services by integrating plan reviews field inspections and reporting into one seamless platformensuring faster turnaround times and improved communication for our clients.
We are looking to hire a Health Inspector to conduct inspections of food establishments and other facilities on an as-needed basis ensuring compliance with relevant public health codes and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sanitarian
- Current Sanitarian License with the State of Texas
- A valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required
- Must be located in San Antonio area
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of food establishments and other facilities to ensure compliance with public health codes and safety regulations; report discrepancies and potential issues
- Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare clear and timely reports
- Work closely with city staff to communicate inspection results identify failed items and ensure issues are resolved promptly to achieve compliance
- Complete bi-weekly timesheets recording all inspections conducted and detailing your hours for submission to your manager
Compensation and Benefits:
- $35 $45 per hour depending on experience
- Part-time role
- Mileage reimbursement provided for travel outside San Antonio
