Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join a well-established and collaborative medical team in Shelton CT.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Evaluate diagnose and manage patients with autoimmune inflammatory and musculoskeletal disorders.
Perform joint aspirations injections and other office-based rheumatologic procedures.
Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies relevant to rheumatologic conditions.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
Educate patients and families on chronic disease management and lifestyle modification.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred; fellowship-trained rheumatologists and new graduates are welcome to apply.
