Job Summary
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Watertown NY
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 12x3 Days
Pay Rate: $2829 Weekly Gross
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography imaging. The technologist will operate CT equipment maintain patient safety and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
Prepare and position patients for CT scans ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate CT equipment and related imaging devices accurately.
Review imaging for technical quality and escalate any concerns to radiologists.
Maintain patient records document procedures and ensure accurate EMR entry.
Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding radiologic practice.
Collaborate with healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
At least 1 year of general radiologic/imaging experience.
Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology.
Epic EMR experience required.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Active New York State license at the time of submission.
Certifications:
AHA BLS
ARRT
