We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential support to our nursing staff and contribute to the high-quality care of patients in our Emergency Room. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) you will be a vital part of our patient care team ensuring comfort safety and efficient flow within the ED.

What Youll Do:
As an ED CNA you will play a crucial role in the patient experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Direct Patient Care:Assisting patients with personal care and comfort needs including bathing dressing feeding ambulation and maintaining hygiene.
- Vital Sign Monitoring & Documentation:Accurately taking and recording vital signs (temperature pulse respiratory rate blood pressure oxygen saturation) height and weight and reporting any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
- Patient Transport & Logistics:Safely transporting patients via wheelchair stretcher or bed and assisting with admissions transfers and discharges.
- Specimen Collection:Obtaining and labeling various samples (e.g. urine stool sputum) and transporting blood/blood products.
- Procedure Support:Preparing patients equipment and supplies for examinations and procedures assisting with patient positioning and transfers.
- Documentation:Providing patient information to nursing staff and documenting relevant patient data according to unit standards.
- Emergency Response:Performing basic life support and assisting medical staff during emergencies.
- Environmental Maintenance:Maintaining a clean organized and safe work environment stocking supplies and reporting equipment issues.
- Team Collaboration:Working closely with nursing staff following clear instructions and seeking guidance when needed to ensure exceptional patient care.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): MN certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
