POSITION GOAL:
Follow strict Health Department guidelines regarding food safety for the health and well-being of the students and staff at the Pathfinder Center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and write.
- Responsibility of employee to obtain and maintain all training(s) certificate(s) approval(s) etc. and provide documentation to the business office before expiration date of said document(s).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Required to have a physical presence at the designated job site each scheduled work day.
- Must have regular and reliable job attendance performance and the physical ability to do the job.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow strict Health Department guidelines including but not limited to; proper dishwashing/cleaning procedures maintain proper food holding temperatures proper food storage and labeling (annual training may be required).
- Participate in biannualCPR/AED and First Aid.
- Maintain lunch and breakfast spreadsheet.
- Send home notes to families who are behind in lunch money.
- Provide coverage for Pathfinder office assistant lunch.
- Inventory food and supplies.
- Serve food according to menu and time schedule.
- Load and unload dishwasher distribute dishes to classrooms.
- Operate clothes washer and dryer.
- Retrieve dirty dishes.
- Wash kitchen carts.
- Sweep kitchen floor.
- Clean refrigerator and cabinets.
- Set up and take down lunch tables.
- Sweep gym floor clean tables and spot mop as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the St. Joseph County ISD Administration.
