Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Join our team at George Wall Construction as a Data Entry Typist in a fully remote capacity. This remote role enables you to work from the comfort of your home while supporting our construction operations with precise typing data entry and documentation tasks. You will collaborate with remote team members and support remote workflows to ensure accurate and accessible records for onsite and remote stakeholders. The remote nature of this role allows for flexibility while helping drive efficiency across our business.



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume typing tasks from your remote workspace including project correspondence field reports meeting minutes and database entries.

  • Maintain accuracy consistency and clarity in all typed content ensuring documents meet company standards in a remote work environment.

  • Input and update data in spreadsheets databases and document management systems while working remotely and coordinating with onsite teams.

  • Manage version control and document archiving for records generated by remote and onsite sources ensuring documents are remotely accessible and properly organized.

  • Collaborate remotely with project managers field staff and administrative personnel to clarify data requirements and correct typographical errors or inconsistencies.

  • Support remote data workflows and assist in improving remote documentation processes adopting remote-friendly tools and templates to streamline remote tasks.

  • Maintain confidentiality and data security in all remote-generated documents and ensure compliance with company protocols and remote access guidelines.

  • Assist with remote audit preparation by providing typed records documentation summaries and remote file retrieval to support compliance and project review.




Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate or associate degree in business administration records management or a related field preferred.

  • Proven typing speed and accuracy; previous experience in typing data entry or administrative roles highly desirable.

  • Strong proficiency with word-processing software (e.g. Microsoft Word) spreadsheet tools and document management systems; comfortable working remotely and using remote collaboration tools.

  • Excellent attention to detail strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple remote tasks and deadlines independently.

  • Reliable internet connection dedicated home office or remote workspace with minimal distractions and remote productivity habits.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate materials and files both remotely and with onsite teams.

  • Self-motivated disciplined and capable of thriving in a fully remote role with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated understanding of data confidentiality document version control and remote data handling best practices.

Required Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or certification in data management business administration or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry records management administrative support or a similar role; remote work experience strongly preferred. Proficient with spreadsheet tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel) database systems and general office software; comfortable working remotely and using remote collaboration tools. Excellent attention to detail organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote work setting. Strong communication skillsboth written and verbalcapable of coordinating with remote and onsite team members effectively.
