Job Summary

Were seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager to lead our Forecasting and Planning function at our Markham Ontario office location. This role is pivotal in driving accurate and insightful forecasts across key business metrics including Subscribers ARPU and Revenue. Youll lead the quarterly forecasting cycles monthly target-setting processes and annual business planning efforts all while collaborating cross-functionally to align on key inputs and assumptions.
This is not just a leadership role its a modeling-intensive position that requires deep analytical expertise and a passion for precision. Youll manage and mentor a team of three analysts helping them grow while rolling up your sleeves to build and refine driver-based models that elevate our planning capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead forecasting and planning for Subscribers ARPU and Revenue across multiple time horizons (monthly quarterly annual).
Own and evolve the quarterly forecast monthly target-setting and annual business planning cycles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance Marketing Product etc.) to align on assumptions and business drivers.
Lead the weekly and monthly business performance reviews providing insights on key variance drivers to the leadership team
Enhance existing forecasting models to be more granular precise and driver-based for each KPI.
Provide actionable insights and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making.
Manage coach and develop a team of three analysts fostering a culture of curiosity rigor and growth.
Maintain a hands-on approach to modeling analysis and presentation of results to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess:

7 years of experience in forecasting financial planning or business analytics ideally in a subscription-based or data-rich environment.
Advanced modeling skills in Excel and/or other analytics tools (e.g. SQL Power BI).
Proven ability to lead planning cycles and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong business acumen and understanding of key financial and operational metrics.
Experience managing and mentoring high-performing analytical teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
