A Brief OverviewCoordinates entry and analysis of benchmark information for Avera Health and for facilitating development of a database of information to maintain consistency throughout the organization.
What you will do
- Assists with the management of data from the Clinical Advisor on Line System for the Avera staff including advising on data gathering techniques and methods to decrease errors in data.
- Works with the Director to develop a system that will provide access to a consistent database of information throughout the system.
- Develop formats verification procedures and coding systems for computer entry and the benchmarking program.
- Uses standardized or specialized statistical packages to analyze research data statistically and provide input to the research analyses and findings under the direction of the Director.
- Serves as point of contact as assigned for development of benchmark reports analysis and research.
- Organizes executes and presents special projects as assigned by Avera staff.
- As assigned attends meetings and takes minutes as requested. May also prepare agendas and related materials for upcoming meetings as requested (related to benchmarking and other quality initiatives).
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining official documents and records in appropriate files.
- Responds to inquiries in a courteous manner provides accurate information within scope of knowledge or refers to other staff members as appropriate.
Essential QualificationsThe individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others hear understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- Associates Business or related field
- 4-6 years of clerical/secretarial experience
Preferred Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- Less than 1 year Prior business experience
