Job Summary

Are you a detail-oriented individual that finds satisfaction in balancing your finances Do you have a keen eye for the finer details of construction If so we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Commercial Roofing Estimator with Quality Roofing Services (QRS) part of the Bone Dry Family!

As a Commercial Roofing Estimator you will be responsible for assessing project requirements evaluating costs and preparing accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our roofing projects as you collaborate closely with clients contractors and the project management team. Your primary responsibility is to represent Quality Roofing Services part of the Bone Dry Family with the highest degree of professionalism punctuality and integrity while providing our customers withrespect honesty and the highest level of customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Estimate Commercial jobs perform take-offs write proposals communicate with business owners property managers consultants or Architects
Working in Edge Estimator
Review all projects with the General Manager
Working overtime as needed to make sure bids get done in a timely fashion
Interpret job specifications and contract drawings and estimate materials needed
Generate and maintain relationships with property managers general contractors and other local avenues of business

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in all Low Slope and Steep Slope Roofing Systems
The candidate should be able to read drawings and spec books in order to perform take-offs write estimates and proposals.
The candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Candidate needs to be able to communicate with business owners and property managers on a professional level.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license
Pass a background check
Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.
Construction/roofing industry experience preferred
Experience in commercial roofing (repairs production or sales) preferred
Military service a plus

Compensation base range $65k -$100k and performance based incentive commensurate with experience
