Job Summary

Essential Duties:

Evaluate patient health develop an anesthesia plan
Administer and adjust anesthetics
Monitor vital signs and patient functions
Manage post-operative pain while monitoring the patient during the recovery process
Determine patient stability for discharge or transfer purposes

Education and Experience:

BA in a science-related field such as biology chemistry or pre-med
4 years of medical school leading to an MD or DO
Clinical rotations in various medical specialties including surgery anesthesiology and internal medicine
4 year Residency program in Anesthesiology
American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) Certification
Licensed in the State of Maine
