Essential Duties:
- Evaluate patient health develop an anesthesia plan
- Administer and adjust anesthetics
- Monitor vital signs and patient functions
- Manage post-operative pain while monitoring the patient during the recovery process
- Determine patient stability for discharge or transfer purposes
Education and Experience:
- BA in a science-related field such as biology chemistry or pre-med
- 4 years of medical school leading to an MD or DO
- Clinical rotations in various medical specialties including surgery anesthesiology and internal medicine
- 4 year Residency program in Anesthesiology
- American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) Certification
- Licensed in the State of Maine
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to engage patients and team members utilizing the CMH Experience Standards
