As a Manufacturing Engineer in Product Operations you will be responsible for the design development implementation and optimisation of innovative processes and technologies to support Apples amazing product line will also have the opportunity to contribute to optimisation and state of the art automation initiatives supporting manufacturing and logistics activities across the value added services team supports manufacturing activities across multiple third party facilities throughout the EMEIA region including personalisation refurbishment and product configuration.
- . . . in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Process / Industrial / Biomedical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent third level qualification in a related discipline
- Experience in development or optimisation of automated processes within a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Experience in 3D CAD for design of equipment / tooling / fixtures / assembly aids
- Experience using additive manufacturing processes such as 3D printing
- Experience with laser technology i.e. marking welding
- Experience in writing technical documentation i.e. technical reports work instructions change impact assessments user requirement specifications equipment qualification protocols and reports etc.
- Experience leading large scale automation programs from conception to completion
- Knowledge of PFMEA or equivalent risk analysis methodologies
- Experience using statistics to assess process capability
- Knowledge of industrial engineering line balancing lean or six sigma
- Experience working with third-party vendors
- Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to prioritise activities
