The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Consultant Investment Counsel Services to join our private investment counsel this role you will play a key part in expanding our client base and building new relationships with high-net-worth families endowments and foundations. Your expertise in identifying new opportunities and promoting our investment counselling services will be crucial. If you have a robust sales background an extensive network and a passion for business development we invite you to apply.

Youll have the opportunity to lead and learn

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and attract high-net-worth individuals endowments and foundations as prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain partner relationships with accountants lawyers planners independent advisors and other centres-of-influence.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate opportunities within your network to maintain a pipeline of potential clients.
  • Prepare and present personalized proposals and presentations to potential clients demonstrating the firms capabilities and available services.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the current financial market investment products and trends that may influence potential clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and distribute targeted campaigns that highlight the firms investment counselling capabilities and success stories.
  • Coordinate with Investment Counsellors and other internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
  • Foster strong relationships with potential clients by providing exceptional service and demonstrating the firms value proposition.
  • Meet and exceed targets for client acquisition revenue generation and other defined performance metrics.
  • Keep track of your campaigns activities and pipeline in the client relationship management system.
  • Effectively manage expense budgets to deliver on results.
  • Always put the clients interests first and maintain a keen awareness of the market and regulatory environment.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards ensuring transparency honesty and integrity in all actions and decisions.



What were looking for

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in asset and/or wealth management working with centres-of-influence independent advisors and/or clients
  • Relevant professional certifications: CIM CFA charter or CFP
  • Proven track record in business development and closing deals particularly in the financial services or wealth management.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills with an ability to engage and build rapport with high-net-worth individuals and decision-makers.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts and strategies.
  • A self-starter with a strategic mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A team player with demonstrated capability to cultivate and sustain trustful relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian financial services landscape and regulations.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
