About Farmington Hills Hospital
Recognized by U.S News and World Report as one of the nations high-performing facilities for multiple procedures and conditions and has been recognized as a Magnet-designed hospital for nursing excellence. This hospital has grown in size and capabilities over the decades to become a Level II trauma center serving the community since 1965. It also serves as the base teaching hospital for Michigan State University.
- Required Associates Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associates degree or equivalent.
- Required Bachelors Degree B.S.N. or M.S.N or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required. This is effective April 18 2023.
- Required Graduates from non-accredited school of nursing programs must have at least one year of acute care experience or greater than 2 years of experience in a licensed health care role such as an LPN or EMT role etc. and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
